Initiated by Araceli L. Dans and Brenda V. Fajardo , an organization for teachers of art  through founding individual and  institutional members. (Ateneo, La Salle Green Hills, Xavier School, College of the Holy Spirit, and others)

Its main objective was to promote the teaching of art in different schools with a (Philippine) culture-based curriculum.  It sponsored art exhibits for children and has held regular workshops for all those who want to teach or are teaching art.

Subject Area (Art) Workshop in Instructional Television, an 84 hour seminar-workshop conducted by the Center for Educational Television. ETV connected the schools through simultaneous lessons in the different subject areas including art.
