Every year, the Ateneo De Manila Grade School celebrates the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels. For this year 2008, it was a 3-day memorable occasion from September 25 to 27. As always there were all sorts of rides, games and other recreation to satisfy the energies of the young and the not-so-young – there is the Ferris Wheel, Octopus, Caterpillar, Dino Plane, Inflatables, Horror-House (Kubol ng Katatakutan) and game booths. Among its special events were the band fest, singing contest and the Sining Galing 2008, an art contest participated by 51 Middle school students each representing their classes. Read More...

“Walking Into Art”
Environmental Sculptures

The activity was outdoors and the participants enjoyed immensely making art without the use of standard art materials. The challenge was to build a sculpture using twigs, driftwoods, rocks, stones, dried leaves, pods, flowers, etc. The participants were to look for the art elements, color, line, shape, texture, etc. in the nature objects gathered to build their group’s environmental sculpture. The sculptures were left in their selected location to be enjoyed by everyone.

“2008 WAAE Taipei Summit Students Art Works”

Last May, the organizers of 2008 WAAE Taipei Summit collected art works of students from the six world regions of InSEA. The Philippines , through the encouragement of Dr. Lourdes Samson, (PAEA Former President (94-96) InSEA World Councilor), sent in artworks submitted by the following participating schools.
